The Plaschke Kazoo is a small membranophone that is handcrafted from local larch wood from South Tyrol. When you speak or sing, a membrane is caused to vibrate, thereby changing the tone of your own voice.

The Kazoos stands out above all because of its innovative shape. The instrument is about 10 cm long, optionally white with a smiling face and a colored rosette in red, blue, green or yellow.
The membrane holder (colored rosette) can be easily replaced.

Wooden kazoos are elegant and have a warm and soft sound.

It works similarly to the old technique of comb blowing, producing a slightly saxophone-like sound. A kazoo is not a wind instrument. You don't blow into it, you sing into it. The small parchment membrane is made to vibrate with your own voice. The membrane does not produce its own sound, it only amplifies and changes that of the singing voice. The result is a squeaky, nasal, distorted sound. The pitch depends solely on the tone sung.

The set includes a total of 4 kazoos in each color, red, blue, green and blue. Optionally with or without a smiling face.
